thanks to everyone who helped me out along the way! sean logan, doug vincent, andrew from rallitek, brydon the wiring wizard, eric, bearing services, and everyone else i forgot.

ok acceptance speach aside, i do need to tune this thing.. all you nothwest kids, i heard good things about pre... any input? im looking to do some type of reflash tuning since im a lil too strapped to buy an access port or anything right now. thanks in advance for any advice.

it bolts up to the dash perfect and to the connection to the steering rack perfect, but its a half inch or so short of touching the firewall grommet i installed...

im not really sure what to do about it...

i could modify it to maybe slide forward into the engine bay further by making the notch that goes into the steering assembly bigger. then i would also need to modify where it attatches to the dash beam to move forward...

or i could try to make the firewall grommet come back into the cabin further somehow to make up the distance...

i dunno, anybody else ran into this or have any advise???
what'd you do here? you never explained

and i love the bumper, im also running post-face lift bumper w/o the lower beam

it turned out the donor steering column was from a front impact accident. the wrx column is made to squish and absorb some impact. after i got a better column it fit fine, and now im kicking myself for dremeling the firewall as it was not needed
