GT35R 504.7whp;)

Default 504.7 WHP on STOCK ej20!

Well I was at TurboXS last Friday for a follow up dyno tune after sorting out my fuel troubles. This was the FIRST car to break 500whp on TXS dyno. Here are the mods on the car.

-STi v7 drivetrain
-Modded Injectors (850cc flow tested)
-Dual Walbro Fuel Pumps
-Perrin Fuel Rails
-Tial 44mm wastegate
-Turbosmart BOV
-Blow Through MAF setup
-Garrett GT35R
-TXS FMIC core
-UTEC
-TXS MBC
-ACT 6puck unsprung clutch (with PP)

So the first time i went to the dyno i had RC750's with a single walbro. On pump gas we ran out of room at about 382 on pump and at 482 on C-16 one of the injectors got a vaccuum leak so tuning was stopped.

Last Friday we got 394 on pump (didn't push it though) at about 23psi. The 504.7whp was on C-16 at about 33psi. It was running so much boost that the Defi boost gauge went through it's reset mode after pegging the boost gauge It was at 494 for a while and then Nathan just added one degree of timing and boom, 504.7.

I'd like to thank Nathan and Jermaine for going out of their way to squeeze me in and make a very driveable, smooth tune. The car idles well and drives around fine everyday for such a wild setup. They were there for me with my last setup and were there again. Thanks guys.

I'll post more details about the car and the custom GT35R setup with pictures soon. Here's the dyno graph for now.

Now you are all probably wondering what kind of times this thing will run. I expect it to run very low 11's if not 10's. As of right now i've run an 11.7 at 121 with a 1.8 60ft. It was the following saturday and was down 5psi of boost than it was dynoed at 504.7 at. The KN filter was also still on the turbo, it's very restrictive.

For example the first time the car was on the dyno 1psi of boost and removing the filter gained 32whp. It's the location that makes it so restrictive along with the filter design. I will head back to the track and run the extra 5psi and take the filter off...I just wanted to get used to running the car and getting the feel of it. With that said an 11.7 is still fast especially for doing it so effortlessly on shakedown passes.

Let me first thank Dave (Cronic) for talking me into a GT35R...thanks buddy, ha.

The setup was done by Agile Auto in Maryland. I came in there and asked them to do a custom setup how i wanted and they obliged until the end. Here are the highlights of it
-2.5'' upipe (wrapped)
-44mm wastegate
-Blow through maf setup
-Reversed flow piping from the normal TXS direction
-Wrapped downpipe
-Heat wrapped PS lines, Coolant/Oil lines, Firewall

The fabrication looked very clean on it, and i was impressed with Hill's work. He also took all my nagging in stride. Suffice to say it performs. All on a freaking 2.0l.

The blow through maf idea came from Dave and the location he suggested ended up working really well. It idles fine and has no driveability issues. It doesn't want to stall or die. Plus it looks cool. Here are some pictures of the setup.

Here is the turbo with the heat wrap and what not. It at least reassures me that there is the heat wrap there because on the GC8 swap i have more wiring on the firewall than GD's.

Here is the Blow through MAF setup...it now has a Blue coupler also, this was when it was first put on.

This is the dual fuel pumps.

Here is a bad picture of the car with my Volk LE28N's on.

Here's a pic of the volks before they went on the car

I'll get some better pictures as time allows.

Thank you's.
-Nathan and Jermaine at TXS
-Hill and crew at Agile
-Jeff and the guys at Racecomp
-Andrewtech
-Dave, Keith, Ed, Erik, and the rest of my friends that helped out on this
-Doug and Michael
-Sal
-Benny big thanks man.

I'll compare this a bit to Mikaust's FP RED setup in a little bit, and i'll also compare it a little to my old Green 8cm setup. I'm tired of writing for now though.

If not.. can you do a dual pump setup for me or at least fill me in?
And how did you mod the injectors to get em to flow 850?

Louis,
Get to the track and run some good times. Glad we could help you out.

Also shift early, or get a bigger turbine housing. That turbine wheel/turbine housing is not working well once the waste-gate closes.
