Have you checked out some PC shows in the area? I know in the last show at Secacus, they where selling mod chips. They are a bit prcey but they are worth it. They are also a PITA to install. Check out http://www.modchip.com/xbox/ for a good insite on the directions. Have you ever thought about a hacked boot disk? I personally think they are better. You don't have to open the console and mess with the internals. You just load the disk then unload it and put in the game.

judgegavel: A modchips lets you play backups (copies) of XBOX games. Some modchips even let you play games from different countries, like imports because, they are region free.

Thanks for all the info!

What I want to do is to be able to play games from other countries... a friend of mine suggested waiting for some chip that won't require any soldering, I forgot what it's called, but it's not out yet...

good idea! I also agree with your friend. I think that it will hook up to the usb port on the xbox. I think not 100% sure.
