Post Legacy Rear Garnish

I have a rear garnish (between the tail-lights) from a japanese Legacy Wagon. Will fit MY00-01. Reads Legacy instead of Subaru.

Those Japanese marketing boys...
Being Japanese, myself, I get a lot of it from conversations that relate to cars. It tickles me to see you guys using their lingo, too. "Garnish"

Try these on for size...

"Blinkers" = "Winkers"
"Lowering Kit" = "Low-Down Kit"
"Cats" = "Catalizer"
"Sedans" = "Saloons"

I suppose that 'finishing lamp assy.' might be a better term for it. When you've been dealing with Subaru parts catalogs for a couple years you are bound to pick something up. This is the red assembly that attatches to the lift-gate between the tail lights.

Ryan

Erik- I'll let you know.

Sedan is otherwise known as "limousine" (Fr), "berline" (Ger) or "saloon" (Brit).

Funny to read of an Impreza 4-door being referred to as a "limousine" on a French website, but then the authors are not using the Anglicised meaning of "limousine". And why should they, it was probably their word in the first place .

OK - here's one from left field - how about a US rear "garnish" for a sedan? How much shipped "back" to Japan?

Cheers!

Great let's start a interntional parts swap. I want some Bilstien shocks and springs from a JDM B4 wagon!

Oh buy the way, I have dibs on the rear garnish! I needed it to match my JDM tail lights.

Great, I just broke my rear "garnish" talk about the flipp'n bad luck. I was closing my back with kid in one hand, he started slipping and I put more than normal force on the center of the "SUBARU" to keep our balance. Bottom Line...A huge crack running about 12" from bottom left to top right.

Believe it or not I send a lot of parts back to Japan (i.e. bug deflectors, bras, covers, lights, etc.). If you are really interested in a US part being shipped to Japan, e-mail me.

With apologies to Euroauto, one of the reasons I am interested in a US rear "garnish" is because mine also has a crack in it!

As for the suspension bits, I've developed a bit of an attachment to mine, so can't help there - sorry!
