OK. I assume there are alignment screws that you've already identified, right?

There is an adjustment mechanism on the back, there is a picture of it in the fr-s forum.

And wow! That is quite the light output, I can't wait!

Awesome man... Thanks for all the updates! All my parts, fog lamps, pigtails, and 3000k HID kit, are on order. Can't wait to get everything in and put it all together!

A complete headlamp HID retrofit is on my list next once I get the extra cash.

The kit that I bought from The Retrofit Source comes with a heavy duty relay.

HERE is the link to the kit I purchased. A little pricey, but supposedly well worth the money.

Did you ever get a chance to take a picture of the final product during the day?

I want to see how much of a difference the size is compared to the stock Impreza.

Also, by any chance did you happen to get a item/product number for the assembly?

Is this the same one?

Subaru Baja/Outback Replacement Fog Light Assembly - 1-Pair : Amazon.com : Automotive
what do you mean size difference. the assemblies? i took a quick picture of them side by side. that is not the one. I also posted a link to where you can buy them as well. that is not what you need. you need a 2010-2013 outback foglight. part number: 84501AJ00A. go to subaruonlineparts.com or subarupartsforyou.com. much cheaper. but the latter is currently out of stock.

Thanks for the info. I will try and order a pair when I get more $$$$!

As for the picture that I was requesting, can you take a picture of the front of your car during the day? (Lights turned off) Also, another picture of the fog lights during the day. Housing/plastic cover.

I just wanted to see the how the final product looks.

How's the glare with the HIDs in the Outback reflectors? I'm interested in doing a similar installation but after seeing this picture on the Outback forums it has me reconsidering it...

Yikes, the fog lights on the left look like they might be obnoxious to oncoming traffic.

I don't understand the obsession with hids, especially hids in a halogen reflector

Might? MIGHT?! Seriously? Anyone that does that to their car deserves it when a blinded driver crashes into them. I usually get home with a headache because my long commute on a 2 lane highway is littered with people who feel the need to see 10' in front of the car at 70 mph. I have no sympathy for people who blind oncoming traffic for style.

Yeah. I said "might" because I never know how accurately a photo captures reality. If that photo is an accurate representation of what oncoming traffic sees, then yes, that would be obnoxious.

Sorry, I got a little carried away, you're right. But if that much light is making it to the camera (which is about where an oncoming driver's head would be) then it will be obnoxious.

+1 definitely possible. I took some pictures of my stock headlights and fogs and it looked exactly like the outback picture depending on where the focal point was selected.
