Default camber plates for Bilstein PSS9 coilovers?

Is anyone out there using Bilstein PSS9 coilovers? I am planning on ordering some from RallyArmor, but have been told they don't come with front camber plates. I am replacing a worn set of JIC FLA2's (need rebuilding and were really too stiff for my liking to begin with). Anyway, the JIC's came with front camber plates-

1) Does anyone know if I can use the JIC camber plates with the Bilsteins coilovers?
2) I'm planning on using approx 2 inch drop from stock- do I need camber plates?
3) Are there other mods or maintenance (bushings, etc) that I should consider while swapping out the coilovers?
4) Can anyone comment on optimal ride height (road with occaisional track use)
5) Are the Bilsteins a good choice - I want something that's good for occaisional track use, is low maintenance, and won't rattle me to death when on a softer setting (should I go back to springs and struts- cost is an issue).
6) last questions- does anyone have any good strategies for protecting the threads on the strut body from corrosion (Minnesota roads have lots of salt on them in the winter)

OK, thanks for any input!!
