Default wreckless driving ticket !!!!!

I was planning on staying home all day untill a friend wants a ride to walmart in foothill ranch - next to walmart there was a nice big open parking lot with no one around so i adjust my dccd to most power in the rear and i bust off a doughnut or 2 then go over to walmart to park. (cop comes up behind) *busted* he writes me up for wreckless driving - no plates - and i dident have my insurance card - im also 17 and i 99% of the time drive my car very responsibly.

Anyone know a ballpark range of the bail amount or the options you recive for a wreckless driving ticket. I also have mercury insurance and would anyone know about how much more it will go up - i cant afford much more i already pay 3400 a year on a clean record --- any storys about your wreckless driving ticket would help

Remember kids:

Wreckless driving is to be congratulated.

Reckless driving is against the law.

i have a friend that got pulled over doing 130 on the 118 and he got off with 30 hours comunity service. his insurance went way up but they didnt drop him. then i have another friend that got a speed contest ticket (street racing) for racing a mustang from a light. he got off with 15 hours comunity service and 1 point on his record. both were 17 when they got the tickets. some judges can be cool while others can be dicks. either way good luck.

lol thats all false.

Reckless Driving = Misdemeaner = 2 points = No suspended license (unless you have priors) = Your insurance is going up lots = $1k+ = Dont drive like an A$$

That's only partially right...it just doesn't equal an automatic suspended license. The judge can still revoke it, especially if he or she feels like making an example out of you.

yea you might be right. i kno off hand it is 2 points... against your rec. but a judge could revoke your license if he feel like it like you said...

your insurance will go way up (as with the rest of us). And seeing that your underage, you have a great chance of having your license suspended. Why did you do donuts and then park? Wouldn't it be smarter to do the donuts when you are leaving....... let alone do them at all

Default License Suspension

Actually, when you are under 18 and have a provisional license 2 points gets you an automatic 30 day suspension.

I remember this kid...we all told him at 17 he'd get in trouble with an STi.

Your profile shows you have an STI and an 04 s2k. You're 17, and you have both of those, yet you're complaining about insurance costs?
