Subaru Stars 09 WRX Pushing 281 to the Wheels!

Hi Guys,
Well I recently decided to get involved into tuning again. Last year I bought a 08 wrx and was disappointed with the lack of power. Then the 09 came out with 265 HP and I could not resist so I traded my 08 in after 5 hours of haggling at the dealership. On the drive home I was amazed by performance and power 08. After a few weeks I decided I was gong to start Modifying again for performance and power. I contacted several companies and after doing research, I decide to go with Agency Power because of their high quality products they offer and customer service. Next I would have never imagined in my wildest dreams that they decided to offer me a sponsorship. These are the following modifications:
- Agency Power Cold Air Intake Kit
- Agency-Power Light weight crank pulley
- Agency-Power titanium tip catback dual exhaust system
- Agency Power Racing Downpipe Subaru
- Agency Power stainless Equal length header
-Agency-Power stainless catless up-pipe
- Agency-Power short throw shifter
- Agency-Power 5 speed aluminum shift knob Subaru
When I picked up my car from shop, The Manager and I took a drive around the block and I was shocked with the power out put. Off the line I was instantly pushed back in my seat, shifting though the gears seamlessly with the short shifter, hearing the nice rumble of the turbo back exhaust and the spooling of the turbo was an amazing experience. Then on the way home I got the full experience and was truly impressed. My next Mods will be a turbo upgrade, fuel injectors, fuel pump and FMIC. Thank you AP!

For some reason that exhaust system doesnt look right to me, maybe they need to be closer to the bumper or maybe its the angle of the picture. But that is impresive gains, so have fun with her. What is the agreement with the sponsership? Im sorry but i dont know how sponserships work.

Yeah don't listen to the haters, there is always one or two. Congrats on the hook ups, they wouldn't be looking for a Forester would they. lol I actually have all I need from what you have besides a fmic, and beefier tranny, and GT30r .....Ooops I'm hi-jacking, sorry

Any way GREAT numbers, what tuning platform did you guys use? I didn't see a mention of a AP, or anything.

Have fun, and the exhaust looks great!

09 wrx's dont use the TD04, its the VF48 generation turbo I think, definitely not the TD04L.

09 WRX's come with a VF52. It is the same size as the VF39/43/48, but with the Legacy GT style compressor outlet.

if you planed on changing your turbo why didnt you just stick with the 08? im shure you took a loss trading in and isnt the biggest power differance between the 08 and 09 the turbo?
