Thumbs down Windshield washer fluid?

I am looking for a fix or upgrade, I was driving last weekend up to Duluth, MN. It was kinda snowing with sorta wet-roads. I was going about 80+ up I35 and everytime I had to use the washer the fluid would only spray the bottom 1/3 of the wind shield. There was too much air flowing over the hood to allow the blue stuff to reach the vision part of my window. I had to slow down to less than 70mph spray the blue stuff, clean the window then speed back up to stay with the flow of traffic. I cannot believe that Soob sells this spray system to the rest of the motoring world ie. Europe. I was much happier with the '97's 2 stream system. At least you could use that one at speed. Has anyone else had this problem?
Any B4 owners, what spray system is standard on your cars? Thanks.
Good Luck
Tim

Hey Tim,

Isn't all that junk MDOT puts on the road wonderful. I find that and application of rain-X does the trick for keeping the window clear at high speeds. Heard it through the grape vine that some people have had some success using a pin to realign the sprayer. trick though as you may end up with over spraying the window at low speeds.

Hope you enjoyed my home town. Watch out on I35 just before Duluth lots of speed traps. PS this should really be a problem since you can't legal go faster than 70 on I35.

Thumbs up

Hey Gz. I wasn't Really going over 80mph. I MEANT to say that I was driving 70mph and there was a 15mph head wind, thus the wind speed was comparable to actually 85mph. I know this because I stopped and took out my wind-ometer. YEAH RIGHT.
Good Luck

Yeah, you aim the spray heads with a pin. Just takes a little fiddling.

Hey Moto, thanks for the suggestion. I never had this problem with the '97 Legacy. But NO Soob had to go and "improve" their 2 jet system for a silly fan pattern that does not work at speed.
Good Luck
