Roof rack fairing question
Sup everyone?! I have a 2011 Wrx hatch with a roof rack and snowboard rack I bought from Subaru when I got it brand new. Can anyone tell me if there's any way I can hook up a aftermarket Yakima fairing to my stock Subaru style roof racks?? Any advice will be helpful! Thanks in advance!

I believe you can get the old style Yakima Mighty mounts that match up to your cross bars and that enables you to mount the fairing. Or you could just fab one up out of scrap metal/plastic you have laying around and save $50.

Thanks for the help everyone. I'll definitely look into those fairings/mounts! And by the way, I'm not gonna zip tie anything on something I paid $30k for lol but nonetheless, thanks for the input. It made me laugh that's for sure! :P

Ugh, I hate that everyone always says inno medium is a direct fit. I know of at least two others besides me that it was not. Somehow the medium fairing actually has two mounting systems, even for the same medium part number because I ordered mine because everyone said it would fit, well here's how i fixed it though:

Did Mine... It is more trouble than it is worth
FWIW: I used the yakima adapters ( these: http://www.amazon.com/Yakima-Horizontal-Mighty-Mount-23H/dp/B00066Z2CE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1370650857&sr=8-2&keywords=yakima%20mighty%20mounts?tag=citofgamonlco-20&tag=53361059562-20), some home depot material, weather stripping, etc. finally got a snug fit though.. I personally like it better than the Inno... but the inno is so much easier to install |

The OEM rack directly from Subaru utilizes 48" bars, correct?
Those horizontal Might Mounts look great to keep the original look since Yakima built the rack after all. |
