The '05-09 2.5GTs had 17" wheels (or 18" in the SpecB guise).

So correct me if I'm wrong, but these would fit on the BRZ yeah? The calipers aren't differentially bored so no swapped the bleeders, just gotta flip caliper from side to side. Mounting holes on Legacy, Impreza, and BRZ appear to all be the same....

Bracket bolts on an older knuckle just fine (press in bearing)
I raised the points a bit too much so the pad sits high - that's an easy fix. But... I was looking at a newer knuckle w/ bolt in bearing assemblies. At least on an STi knuckle it will not fit (at all) Who has a pic of a bolt in new age knuckle? That will require a different bracket I bet. |

The OG bracket was on my 06 WRX - so I think WRX to 207 is OK.
Pretty sure 2008 WRX has the new bolt in so we'll have to revisit that one. The LGT....meh who cares Foresters up to 2008 should be good to go as well. So - let me get a revision done and we'll make them. Can we please get a list going? And can you please at least consider getting the other required parts from me? -Ken |

A couple more tweaks need to be done to the prototype!
I have to push the pad down a few mm to get it about 1 mm below the edge of the rotor. This means we may need to ever so slightly kiss the edge of the rotor channel for clearance. Worth it to get that pad down where it needs to be. Hardware is easy and readily available Looking pretty good. Sending the revised model tonight. He should be able to turn them out quick. They won't be powdercoated - that is too thick. Last edited by KNS Brakes; 01-17-2013 at 07:27 PM. |

Would it be better to have the adapter made of steel for less flex? Are there thoughts of making an adapter to use the rear 2 pots as well?

i see what you mean about the hub maybe causing issues with the bolt in bearings. im assuming they have less radial clearance?
cant you just take some material out of the center? around the bearing area. the original bracket was like that. im not suggesting take out as much, as to make it look like the original, but maybe a middleground for strength and compatibility. |

also, i know this thread is concerned with the front 300zxtt calipers and the braket development right now,
but what were the rear brakes like on these cars? did they have a comparable 2 pot rear? just curious lol. |

I saw in a post that a guy used wrx 06 back plates and bolted on Nissan 2 pots, but had the pad over hang the rotor a little. are there thoughts of making a special bracket to use the 2 pots in the rear??

If you check his pics and read the comments, he mentioned needing to clearance the calipers to get the pads at the right spot on the rotors (with pictures to support that)... so you probably don't have the calipers "ready to go."

Will there be a solution for the Sti hubs, because dont want to drop 1k on Brembos or 500 on LIC modded hubs. I havent swapped hubs yet and my wheels have a dual pattern so it doesnt matter.

I'm not sure what to do there.

Whoa I'm glad I ran into this.. I have LGT front brakes on my RS already and I've been looking for a 4-pot caliper upgrade, stumbled on 300zx calipers then went searching for a bracket. Would be in on the group buy!

Would you also consider brackets for the STI rotors?
