Default Fairbanks - Who was that?

Figured I'd give this a shot, since AKIC stands for Ankorage Impreza Club. I don't know, someone else figure out what the K stands for. I usually see several WRX/STis every day, so I'll be too lazy to whore it up unless I'm genuinely curious.
What brought me to this was I parked next to a black 2011 WRX hatch at the geist post office today, but it was gone when I came back out. Had some subtle, tastefully done pinstripes too.

Wow thank you for explaining that to me.
I guess I need to be more specific. I'm not going to bother reading the 'AKIC - Who was that?' thread everyday or posting in it, because it's 99.x% Anchorage people and I live 370 miles away.

I've lived in AK my whole life, bro. No hard feelings though.
Lol, I even spelled it correctly in the post before yours.

Lol, It works if you use the tried and true "stAnKorage" moniker.

Yeah, I like this thread already. I'm never in Anchorage, so it's like I'm disconnected from the "Who was that?" entries.

How about I start a sighting post?

Couple weeks ago, there was a rowdy sounding 1st gen Legacy tearing up my office's parking lot in the Aurora Industrial area. Drifting on the new snow, spinning donuts and such. Black or dark Maroon. Made a dozen or so passes. I think they work in this area or something, because I've seen it quite a bit.

Ha you must have Ninja edited that right as I was quoting it in my reply.

Yeah, I'm liking the Legacy. It's been a fun car to work on. Always a work in progress.
Here's the link for those that haven't seen it. http://www.fairbanksforum.com/phpbb3...hp?f=11&t=7056

Wow that would be cool. Now that you mention, I think I did notice an old rhd subaru wagon years ago. I thought it was driven by a really old person and just assumed it was a retired postal vehicle, although I guess that wouldn't make much sense. Don't remember the color.

So I actually passed that right hand drive subaru on the johansen this morning about 9:20, kinda crazy coincidense. It was a white legacy wagon. 2nd? Gen(old but rounderish with the plastic 'subaru' between the tail lights). It was dark, I don't think it had a hood scoop. Looked like maybe a middle aged woman driving.

I believe I've worked on that car years ago, used to be owned by a mail man. It could be a different one, but I have worked on a RHD legacy before...
