Ha, yeah. It doesn't help that the events I can make, my car doesn't want to

Sunday may work well. I'm assuming that there will be a group heading over from the IC area? If so I'd happily join up.

Are you gonna run or just go to watch? I'f you're going to run, we gotta be out there around 8:30am. I'll probably be leaving from my place in Tiffin around 7:15-7:30(but if everybody gets pre-registered, we can leave later).

Anybody else interested in going? Brooke?

Everyone remember the McLaughlin's meet/show is this Saturday in Moline IL, (unless you have same lame thing going on like a job ZAK!)

I guess I'll have to put a reminder on the FB page too!

EISC OCTOBER MEAT

Date/Time:
Saturday, October 8 · 6:00pm - 9:00pm

Location
The Brown Bottle
125 E Zeller St # 102
North Liberty, IA 52317-9041
(319) 626-3900

More Info
This will be our fifth meet. We'll be reserving one of the back rooms, which seat 40, so we should have plenty of space. Its an away game, so I expect full attendance! And if you wanna go grab a drink after the meat to celebrate the game, the North Liberty Fieldhouse is right across the parking lot. The CR and IC groups can meet up a bit before the meat and have a small cruise to North Liberty, CR can take 965 down and IC can take Dubuque St. out...

Bahahahaha.

"MOVING VIOLATIONS AND POINTS
Different violations are assigned different point values, which are added to your driving record. For instance, moving violations such as driving with a blood alcohol level exceeding 0.8% or driving while barred carry four points each. Five-point offences include failure to stop at the scene of an accident or causing serious injury while operating a vehicle. The number of points assessed for different speeding violations are as follows:

Exceeding the maximum speed limit by 16 -25 mph: 5 points

Exceeding the maximum speed limit by 25 mph:Automatic license revocation.

View the complete Point Schedule available in the driver's manual to learn about the number of points associated with each type of moving violation."

Eh, that's no good! I have fun stories about excessive speeds.. Only on motorcycles.. And cops don't catch up very quickly.. He let me off tho with an unsafe start. I think he was mad because he lost the 1/4mi race! To be fair he didn't know we were going to race.. 80+ in a 20 and then 145 in 55!

He said "that was awesome, I thought you were running from me, but then you pulled over! In the video I just see your tail light disappearing! I'm not even sure how fast you were going!"

The bike tops out around 150... Then he says.. "hahaha, well the only thing I saw was an unsafe start do you agree? Otherwise we can make a trip to county.." heh, yes sir! I'll accept!

This is the only time I was given a break for being so dumb! The cop was behind me the whole time.. Only I wasn't thinking look behind ya idiot! Oh well! Good luck with your violation charge!

^ Thanks guys. And machinist you're a lucky man!

But I don't understand, the ticket doesn't say I have to show up to court. Am I going to get some letter asking for license after I pay the fine lol?

What part of going 107 in a 65 sounded like a good idea?
