Post Anyone w/ WRX install an egt gauge hooked up to the ecu?

I read that there's supposed to be a stock egt sensor in the WRX, and that you could tap into the 2 wires that go to the ecu for an aftermarket egt gauge?

Anyone done so yet? It beats having to drill into your manifold or something!

I got my westach EGT gauge and probe today... tommorow I'll be hooking up my meter to those leads and see the voltage variance.... memory serves a normal k type is something like .1 to .9 volts in it's range... something like that....

ANYWAYS.. heheh I'll look into it if not I'll just clamp on the gauge.

I was under the car today (installing the Kartboy shifter bushings and solid droplink inserts) and saw a probe coming out of the pre-cat. If it were the O2 sensor, its in the wrong place!

So, this could be it!
