Default RS shifter linkage on a FWD tranny?

will a RS shifter linkage fit on a 1993L FWD tranny? Reason being is there is no short shifter for a 93

no.
the linkage pivots are different. your best bet if you dont want to swap trannies is to have some one custom cut & weld yours lever. have someone move the pivot or fab a new shifter. pulling a lever from a yard will give you less down time & allow you to screw up a few times w/o doing too much harm.
