Angry Snapped a strut top mount stud

How will this affect my ride? And how soon should I fix it. I would imagine that the only way to fix this would be to get a new strut top mount. I haven't done any suspension work to my car, or any car for that matter, but I would assume that I would have to totally remove my spring and strut to replace the the strut to mount.
So if this has happened to anyone or anyone has any insite into my currnet situation, please help me out.

Those only take about 15 lb/ft of torque. So how'd you manage to break one off, if you weren't working on the suspension?? Anyway, it's not quite an emergency situation: somewhere between "there's a funny noise in my suspension" and "my wheels fell off". Unfortunately you won't be able to rectalfy the situation without unmounting and disassembling the strut, which is no small task without the right tools. And yes, you basically need a new strut top mount. GL.
