Attention Teenager and a friend in a Black STi in the Chino Hill Spectrum Center:

My wave to you WAS a sign of friendliness, not a permission for you to drive like a nut behind me and continue to speed your way in between cars. I don't know what attention you were trying to get but you do not deserve to drive a 300hp car. I hope you crash one day with your stupidity. You are the ones that make me regret having an Suby.

good point considering i had a 40+ yo man pass me to my left into oncoming traffic today going down ridge route towards el toro hs. rocket scientist i tell you and i can honestly say i have no clue what provoked this action as there was plenty of room in the lane next to me along with the fact i was doing about 5 over the speed limit already.

Yup they do. But not from excitement of seeing another suby. Before you guys came along, we grown adults wave to each other and the Suby community was nice and welcoming on the street. Now, it's just a bunch of wannabe civics. If you want to race, take it to the freaking track.

am i bitter? yup.

Replace the word "adult" with "responsible person", as responsibility/personal accountability doesn't kick in with age as you imply. Then replace "you guys" with just asshats, as I've seen Suby drivers young and old drop the hammer on the streets.

Suby community welcoming? I found people here are quicker to call you a "retarded n00b" than a "friend" .

I've waved to older Suby drivers and they look at me like I lost my mind... only ONE older guy waved back. He was in a white WRX wagon.

yup. that's because your "join date" is Sept 2006.

Pre-2003 was a different story. But of course you weren't here.

But whatever.

So can I call you a senile old man who spends too much time generalizing and jumping to conclusions?

Why is this a "public" forum then if the mature/seasoned members look down on people who come in "post-2003"? Charge $150 a year for a membership to deter the n00bs who got the Suby just to show up a friend then remove the InteliText and have a good time?

umm okay. but hey like you said. public forum. i can make any remarks i want.

and so what if you're older than me? does it look/seem like i care? Should i be scared? Obviously you have way too much time as well to be posting back and forth with me. Stop wasting my email space and move on to the next subject already. This is a sighting thread. That was my sighting post. I saw a teenager that drove like an asshat. period. done.

What? Like this thread hasn't been hijacked before? The point is, it's stupid to want to wish someone dead for "driving like an asshat". While it's dangerous, just look after your own. It blows because the majority of people who make those comments are Scooby Specialist" and "Scooby Guru". Long time members who should be helpful and more tactful in how they carry themselves because guys like me (new subie owner), would want to ask a question.

And for you to think I am threatening in any way is stupid. There are only a few things you can do to actually piss me off. Going back and fourth on a forum isn't one of them. I'd rather fill your car full of 91 than punch you out.

I pointed out your age as my mistake for calling you an old man in my earlier post. But I should have known you were sub 30 by the lack of capital letters .

And you're right. I can't sleep... too busy with Castlevania:PoR.

it doesn't really matter what age i am. this is a forum, not a document for someone important. oh no. why would i think you were threatened? of course not. you're just as bitter as me that wants to prove some point that just keeps going round and round. and if only you have been around this forum longer you'll find out "suby specialists" and "suby gurus" post things that i did because frankly, it wasn't like this before when we first got our cars. you can ask any of the "old school" people. we actually knew who was on the road. before this sighting thread even was established, sightings posts were actually answered by the sighted. people waved to each other. literally. windows down, hands and body sticking out and all.

again.. if you dont believe me, you can go search the archives. ask one of the old school people.

how's that for non-capital letters?

anyways. i'm done. go and be busy with your Castlevania.

Actually, Karazyman never wished anyone dead. He just hopes the kid crashes. There's a difference.

haha, you guys are great, i dont understand why you cant just get in your car and enjoy it however you please. not getting a wave back from some older guy and being hurt about it is like, someone kicking you off their top 8 on mysp4ce. get in your d4mn car, drive how you want. you shouldent have to worry about a report on the ALLMIGHTY NASIOC.

if someone is driving dumb, let him, cop will see it eventually. now does this thread really need to continue, think about it. you guys are mad because someone is giving subaru a bad name? give me a break, if he was in an excursion, or a vette, or a bug, would there be a bashing a forum for it, NO!!!!!

let it go

seriously. im gonna cry cause you all waste such valuable time! specialists, gurus, n00bs, calm down. we are all just fans of the car.
