Worcester fun in the snow
Spill your guts. Where do you go on a snowy day/night to have some fun in the parking lots?
I have grown fond of the QCC parking lots because they are so big and not any lamp posts in the middle. But there are houses across the street so I dont really want to bother them. Getting snow as we speak

Why would you go to college parking lots? Elementary school parking lots are where it's at!! Just make sure you go when those flashing lights on the sign that says "School in Session" or "School Zone" are flashing. That means that school is not in session and it's ok to go hooning about.

Hmm that's right down the street from me. To be honest your not going to get many serious responses in this thread simply because people have an aversion to posting up locations where they like to do illegal things. There are a lot of places around worcester you can find that will work and to be honest WPD has bigger things to worry about here than someone doing donuts in a parking lot. I would avoid any of the smaller towns around here though because the police really don't have much to do.

I'm not gonna preach about safety and all that BS like a lot of people will do, because honestly, I don't see how you can consider yourself a car enthusiast if you don't find it fun sliding around in the snow (purposely sliding that is).
But it's one of those things that even though we all do it or have done it, you don't talk about it and bring attention to it. People get away with doing it and being somewhat safe about it because they go to empty spots with no people around... seems like telling other people about these spots will get more people and cars there which will make it more dangerous as well as bring attention to everyone. So, generally asking a questions like that in NESIC will get you nothing but wise ass answers. (As you may have noticed) |

I hate the stigma on this site about drifting and racing "KEEP IT ON THE TRACK ******" dude it doesn't ****ing matter. Sure street racing is absolutely stupid but if you're doing it on a deserted road off the highway with no one else but you and the other willing participants, what's the issue? That it makes the community look bad? No one ever sees a street racing accident an blames the entire subaru/Honda/mustang whatever community. They blame that person (s) . There is nothing wrong with sliding around in an empty parking lot of a closed business or whatever. No one is gunna get hurt but you or your car. DO IT IN SCHOOL ZONES AND SEE IF YOU CAN DRIFT ARPUND THE SWINGS FOR BONUS POINTS! That's so stupid to say. End rant.
Edit: also this wasn't directed at anyone individually, just every thread I go into there's always some one who is a pompous dick about the subject. Just to clear any confusion about anyone taking it personally. Last edited by BradX978; 12-27-2012 at 08:25 PM. |

While I can understand your rant but not sure where itis coming from. No one has said anything condescending about this, we have simply said no one will tell him where to go. This is still a public forum and announcing where you are going to do illegal things is a bad idea. No one is innocent but we are smart enough to know that you don't post about it. You are a recent member to Nasioc and nesic but street racing has always been flamed because its just dumb.

Anyone know a place near Worcester where I can score some hookers and blow? That address at 11 Lincoln Street sounds promising. I might start there.

Haha while 11 Lincoln is good for that your best bet is main south or piedmont street. Nothing like driving around there in the middle of the day and finding exactly what you are looking for.

As for talking about illegal activities on the Internet? People post dumber **** on facebook with their real names, (ie drugs, underage drinking, ect) cops are not patrolling a subaru forum looking for illegal drifters lol. On that note, anyone who is ever in the leominster area and wants to slide in the snow me and my buddy's have a half ass "rally" course we set up with foldable cones. Like I said no offense to anyone. Opinions are opinions I'm sure mine pissed people off too, I've just never been to a website were the community is so "law" conscious. It's weird. |

Then leave NASIOC and go back to whatever forum that condones that ****. Nobody is making you read and post on NASIOC/NESIC.

1) Lowell Connector...... Need I say more? 2) Without a time slip, you lost. 3) People street racing need an excuse. People who go to the track are fine with actual timing devices, confirmed wins/losses and documented improvement. 4) Winning is winning. Ask any racer.....any real racer and they'll tell you that it doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning is winning. Derp 5) Drifting is a really fun sport when doing it with one of the drifting clubs. What? There are drifting clubs? Yah.....there are. 6) There's always someone faster. Don't believe that? I was getting my Cobra inspected one year in Westboro. Next car to get inspected was a 32 street rod. I got to talking with the guy. 1200 pound car. Supercharged hemi with nitrous. Well over 1200 hp. Well over. |
