hey thanks jesse. I'll get a tune soon after I throw some other things in the engine. I don't really want to go the AP way though, But I think the car has been tuned, no boost creep and no cels, it has no cats.

Jaxx and Jeffg if you two are still on here, we have a mandatory old timers beer meet soon. PM me or something and the three of us should get together.

What's wrong with an AP? Especially when Cobb gives out Access Tuner software for free when you request it.

Oh so not much longer than mine. I need to find someone who has a decent amount of experience with sti's to drive my car and tell me if anything feels out of the ordinary(power-wise, boost-wise, transmission-wise). Ever since I found out the car was purchased at auction by the dealership and then 1 previous local owner, it makes me wonder if the car was tuned at all, and how well if it was. That thought is always in the back of my head now when I'm driving
Is your engine stock? Maybe you can check it out and tell me if you notice any differences? |

^ did someone tell you it was tuned when you bought it.? What mods are done to it? Do you have a boost gauge? I think stock peak boost on the STIs are around 14 psi (.1 mPa).

Yes, made spacers for the FXT when I had it. Pretty easy. Again, same question, how thick do you want them?

Awesome. I'm thinking 5/8". I want to raise my winter setup a little more. I all ready have a 3/8" for the rear and a 1/4" for the front.

To go that thick will require a little more than just a spacer as the studs aren't going to be long enough. Can push out the old studs and put in longer bolts, or if you go a little thicker, can just put studs into the spacer. Paranoid prices aren't too bad actually, be hard pressed to get a set of front&rears for less than $70 I would guess.

You think I would need longer studs for 5/8" total? It's not a big deal if so. I was just wondering if I could source them cheaper locally
