I've also got a 46" Samsung DLP (Same stand even...). But mine has really thin edges (the screen goes right to the edge of the TV). It was a BIG improvement from our 27" Toshiba.

Strange...mine is a couple inches thicker than yours...

We got our Samsung HLP-4663 in July. We're very happy with it!

Now if TimeWarner would just enable the DVI ports on their HD DVRs...
