Default Interest in VT SportsCar/SOA Event in Burlington, VT?

I was talking to Lance this morning when I was picking up the 25B and we started talking about a fall event for the I-Club nutcases. Here's is what we are thinking:

It would be a fall event so you could link it up with a little leaf peeping if you are into that sort of thing. The Prodrive rally cars would be there and it is possible that Karl Scheible from the SCCA Pro Rally team might be there. The plan would be to find a spot to see him do his thing. It is also possible that if we got enough interest that SOA would sponsor it and give up some Subaru booty.

It would happen at the Vermont SportsCar facility in Colchester, VT (near Burlington) and the bowling alley right next door. Before we move forward and try to line up the resources, I need to know how many people would be interested in the event. We would need at least 30 people to make it happen but the more people the better. Please respond to this post if you think that you would like to come.

Hey Fishguy, could we make this sticky?

Thanks,
Kurt

I will check with Lance on the RallyX. If he is not interested then maybe the SCCV would be interested in doing something.

well Burlington, VT is like 3 hours from me. And unless there's a rally-x is just not worth it. Im all set with a 3 hour drive to see one or two rally cars drive a half a mile.

Thumbs up

Kurt - we could alway make that the final destination for the fall tour. NESIC VT Meet #11 Sounds like a cool idea - as close to prodrive as we're going to get.

I'll email you this weekend with some questions - and details.
There are sure to be more then 30 cars that way.
- Kris

Oh, and I make thing sticky too.
