Default OEM Roof Vane Installation Wanted For '05 STi

Hello everyone!

I own a 2005 WRB STi and I am thinking about getting an OEM roof vane spoiler installed on my car.

Has anyone personally done this installation before or know of anyone that could/would install one on my car?

I am willing to pay pretty good for a professional installation to be done.

Also, does anyone have any ideas of where I can find the best price for a complete OEM roof vane kit?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

FYI, I live in Northern West Virginia, about an hour south of Pittsburgh.

Thanks everyone!

Here's the real thing. You might be able to find it cheaper somewhere else or a knockoff.

Exactly! Get a good bit, pilot hole, then drill. And it goes without saying measure more than once since you cant undo a hole in your C pillar easily.

I have also done it myself and a friend. We measured everything twice, then went to drilling.

Came out great, simple, but tedious.

I did it last summer. Don't rush it or you'll screw it up.
Get the REAL thing, with all the hardware and gaskets etc. DON'T overtighten or you will pull in the pillar, you don't want that, and most of all... talk to someone with an 06/07 sti to get EXACT placement of where the wing sits.

Have at it.

Thanks to everyone for the comments, suggestions, etc.

I realize the issues that can be created if using 3M tape. I never said I would use 3M tape.

When I get this done, I want it done professionally and correct with the bolts, screws and seals.

My initial question was if anyone knew of anyone that personally installed this and if anyone knew where I could find the best price on a new complete kit.

Thanks!
