Default 3 Day Road Trip

Heading up to the Grand Canyon on Friday. Any good places to stop along the way as far as food / good sites are concerned? I've booked a hotel in Flag for the weekend so anything within a reasonable driving distance from there would be helpful. Thanks.

There is a place called 'Cruisers Cafe' in Williams that's worth going too.

If you want to detour a bit and go through Sedona, there's a couple real good places to eat. Oak Creek Brewery has REALLY good beers and pretty good food... the Cowboy Club is an AWESOME steak place (albiet a bit expensive). Let's face it though, you go through Sedona / Oak Creen Canyon b/c it's absolutely gorgeous

Sedona is worth it. I've been there 2x in the last 3 months. (Maybe thats why I'm completely racking up the mileage on my car )

Since I moved here in August, I've been there 5 times, twice in the last 3 weeks.

If only I were 21 I could have all the beer you guys are mentioning.... but, I hear that snow might be falling on Thursday so I'll get to test out my summer tires and AWD combo special on the roads lol. I got it through some before but not very much, snow that is.

Oh... whoops. I make the assumption that people are my age way too much... sorry dude!

Summer tires + snow = bad juju. I'd let you borrow my stockers for your trip if you had the same bolt pattern as me, as they have pretty decent all seasons on them. IF you hit snow, do yourself a favor and drive EXTREMELY slow.

i disagree...... the only reason to go to sedona is the fun drive to and from. the people there are dicks, the food and beer sucks, plus everything is expensive.
oak creek brewery has some of the blandeest and least appetizing beer and food ive had and not worth the $10+ plates of food. much less the piss water they dare call beer.

Really?! I'm a bit of a beer snob, and I really like Oak Creek, especially the Amber and the Pale Ale.... It's not the best, but I think it's damn good.

Leaving tomorrow guys. If I've got time I'll stop by the west-side meet. Heck, I haven't been down there for a month at least...

Just got back from the trip and it was a complete success. Got some sweet pics of the grand canyone and of oak creek. I'll post up some pics if I can ever get it figured out.... Thanks for all of your input guys.
