Default Tale of Two Cities: City of God and City of Lost Children

City of God - saw this last night. Wow! The most compelling movie I have ever seen! The editing was terrific! Had a resemblance to "Lord of the Flie" but in a city with guns, drugs and corrupt cops. My favorite foriegn movie.

City of Lost Children - about to see it tonight. Better be good. The big jawed guy from "Quest for Fire" is in it.It's a French film. I remember the old Playstation had a game based on this movie.

City of Lost Children struck me as one of those movies that was weird for the sake of being so. Kinda reminded me of a Dario Argento film though, which could be a good thing.

Yep. City of God, it seems one short English sentence will cover about 300 Portuguese words.

Is it less wierd than "Brazil" (ironically enough, I don't recall this movie having anything to do with Brazil)?

City of God is a great movie. In fact, it is the only foreign movie that I felt was worth watching.
