Need a Tuner for 04 STi with UTEC Delta
Hey guys, A friend of mine just purchased an 04 STi from a towing company and it runs very well but the check engine light comes on occassionally for a cylinder 4 misfire and we also realize that it has NO tune. My buddy just purchased a UTEC Delta for it and needs somebody to tune it. He doesnt want to take it to an actual Tuning Shop (Dont ask me why cuz I dont know the answer) but he wants it road tuned. His current Modifications that came with it are:
-20G Turbo -SPT short Ram Intake -Catless Downpipe -HKS Catback -TurboXS Type S BOV -Apexi Electronic Boost Controller -255 Fuel Pump -TurboXS FMIC that's all i believe, if anybody is interested in helping him out/tuning for him please let me know. He is willing to pay anybody who can tune for him. -Please dont post any stupid comments like go get it tuned somewhere because it isnt my car and BOTH of my Subaru's are tuned by IAG or TurboXS and all work is professionally done. Thanks!

look in the tuning section for a reputable road tuner...but hes going to need to know which injectors your running.

Yeah, Jermaine Tuned my Stage 4 WRX and it runs flawlessly, How much did he charge for a basic road tune? i was actually tuned on the dynojet.
Unfortunately he doesnt know which injectors are in the car. We cant figure out if they are 565cc or 850cc. Anybody know a way to check them or figure it out? |

Didn't realize the UTEC was not installed so my previous post is worthless. UTECs are hard to tune and you need an experienced tuner with UTEC background. Def. call TurboXS for a recommendation.
As far as the injectors, you'll have to pull them out to see or if you have an AFR gauge it won't matter as long as the tune is right but it will take much longer to tune without knowing the flow rate of the injectors. |
