Default Where to find headlight wire under dash?

I'm installing some Hella driving lights, and thus need to tap the low-beam (red and yellow stripe) wire. It's a bit tight to work at the headlight side, so can anyone tell me where to find this wire either under the dash or somewhere with a bit more slack so that I can stick a vampire tap on it?

Just a question here. Are you aware that the subaru uses switched ground system. Most aftermarket driving lights i have seen often boil down to attaching a single wire that is suppose to connected to a 12 volt headlight source. In a subaru it cannot be done quite like that. This singel wire has to be fed by a relay with subau wiring providing a triggered ground. Anyway..just asking..The previous poster is correct in that driving lights should be triggered by the high beams.
That being said Here is a location of the low beam stalk wire on a 04 RS

Yes, I know. But, as brunetmj pointed out, on Subarus the ground is switched, not the positive. So, to make the Hella relay turn on the driving lights with the HIGH beams, you have to run the relay "triggering" wire to the ground of the LOW beams. When you switch on the high beams, the ground of the low beams is pulled to +12V, thus turning OFF the low beams. However, since this is just the voltage that the driving light relay is looking for, so it will turn ON when the low beams are OFF. Do a search, and you'll see why I'm doing it this way.

Both headlight relays reside in the main fusebox (the one under the hood). Everything you need to wire up those lights is sitting right there. There's even an empty terminal in that box where you can wire in your own fuse.
