They don't feature pictures, there won't ever be picture import. They do it with all the in-game stuff. Yeah, there are people that crazy-good. Some of the stuff they do is amazing but it's all in-game.

Indeed it is! Spending an hour and a half in 5° weather and nearly frostbiting my toes at midnight was worth it! Never have seen such a long line at a midnight Gamestop opening in Wasilla before!
(yes my camera phone is a potato, before you ask) Line goes way on past the Gamestop store to the right too, it was nuts. Some people really get into it too: |

The line at gamestop at bestbuy/muldoon mall had about 300+ people. I was about 100 back with my pre-order paid for. once the line moved I had my game in about 10 mins.

I definitely won't be down there for the Saints Row 3 midnight release, I'll just go down in the morning and get in and out in 5 minutes. I probably wouldn't have gone to this at midnight either but my nephew had school off today and had pre-ordered so figured why not and took him down to get his. I hadn't pre-ordered, just bought it outright, still got the pre-order map though, think they gave me the wrong box, but I won't complain.
I also just got into the beta for Star Wars The Old Republic, so now I have way too many games, and I am supposed to be packing and getting ready to move too, so many things to neglect at once! |

Amazingly I'm already bored of Skyrim after only about 10 hours total of gameplay... The same thing happened with Oblivion back in the day, I'm just not a big fan of fantasy I guess.

I found my holy ground for avoiding cheese cars without doing rivals. Fujimi kaido. Thank you turn 10 for making one set of tracks that no one car dominates in leaderboards and you can pick pretty much anything youd like in order to break into the top 1% in most classes

Finally getting into Skyrim a bit. Have about 20 hours into it now, only level 12... Still have yet to really attack the main questline, I'll be walking somewhere specifically to do a main quest and I'll run into someone on the road or whatever asking for help with their problem and I end up sidetracked more often than not! Liking it that way though, not nearly as boring as it was when I was trying to just attack the main questlines.

I'm lv 26 with most map areas discovered and approx... 15% main story completed. I get to easily sidetracked. I also talk to everyone I come across and have a TON of side and misc quests.
This is the best game I've ever played. |

I don't think anyone really plays the main quest. Just got to get to that first dragon is all.
And I agree with Mav, probably one of the best games ever. |

Started Skyrim and honestly other than the last patch coming out for World of Warcraft for this expansion I have no reason to play that anymore and I am going back to console games and I will be playing Diablo 3 when that comes out.
Sumi and I designed my character for Skyrim, its a Dark Elf Female. I might play through it a few times as different races and builds for fun. So now its WOW on raid nights then Forza 4 and Skyrim otherwise. Started getting into the top 1% on track times for a few classes on certain tracks lately and have the record for the fastest D Class 1989 MR2 on Fujimi Kaido Stage C. But I have to limit my game time so I spend more time with Sumi and work on getting things situated for next month. Skyrim though is why I love RPGs, especially ones with so mainy things to do other than a main quest line. I might just play oblivion again to get the last achievement I need on it then finish Skyrim. |

Both games don't have substantial improvements and graphic wise they're capped out with the outdated console graphic systems. To me BF3 had less improvements/changes than MW3 did. When I play BF3 I see only new maps and fighter jets. The weapons haven't really changed and neither has the gameplay itself. Oh except RPG spam(which is even worst on PC) and maybe making sniping more difficult w/ sway. With MW3 I'd say their changes were mostly around their entire killstreak system but it's definitely becoming more like the past original where it's much more run and gun now + very fast paced. No spawn timers and on spawn groups is kind of annoying since you cannot do push backs as easy but oh well. Really they're both so completely different games, with completely different style of gameplay. Console wise though I think BF3 is a disappointment because it can become too slow(periods of no action) and just teams of snipers(so the action is even less). PC is definitely the better choice for it. Console wise I'd go for MW3 for the most fast paced action and entertainment. Right now I haven't really been playing either of them as much with being occupied on Assassins Creed Revelations. Star Wars The Old Republic MMO is looking good. Have done a couple beta weekends and thus far I'm quite impressed with Bioware's work on this one. I think it's a very good alternative option to WoW and hopefully stays true to that vs games like Aion, Rift, Warhammer, etc etc |

I picked up my pre-order of Assassin's Creed Revelations but doubt I'll be playing it any time soon thanks to Skyrim.

Rawr, whats up. Just found the AKIC forum, I'm fairly new to Nasioc. 05 LGT up in fairbanks. And thought I'd jump in on the Nerd chat. Are most of you guys console gamers who are playing skyrim and BF3 or running it on a box? I was working durring the release and didnt want to deal with the Steam client so I actually found a nice torrent for Skyrim, It was a pretty decent game, way better then oblivion and a good successor to Morrowind.
BF3 was exactly what i was hoping for, not too much like 2142 but more like the originals, great playability and more realism. theres my 2 bits. |

console player here. Skyrim does just fine on it with moments of lag here and there. Nothing I can't deal with. Considering its requirements for the PC lol

So far Skyrim hasn't frozen or crashed for me. It looks to be absolutely huge with regards to playability and re-play. Definitely a huge time vampire but so much better than Oblivion, IMHO.

What system there sonny? I'm playing on the PS3. After a while of playing every now and then it will momentary freeze. Considering the size of the game and the detail, I can live with that. Your a vamp? lol I eat vamps for breakfast. Playing werewolf myself. The companion guild is awesome.

I get a little lag on my PS3 after playing for a few hours straight. I just turn the console off, let it sit for about 30 minutes, grab a drink or something, then turn it back on. Then, it'll be fine for another few hours. I'm pretty sure it's not an overheating issue, but more like a memory leak or something. It'll probably get patched soon.
