Technically, the WRX is my first car First one with MY name on the title.
However, here's a list of cars that have been considered "mine": 1. 1990 Mercury Sable Sedan, "Currant Red" int/ext, with ext faded enough to be more dark pink than burgundy 2. 1999 Toyota Camry LE Sedan, White ext, Gray int - my bro drives this now That's it. |

1980 Datsun 310 (my parents owned it, but "gave" it to me.)
I drove it for a week before I bought: 1986 Jeep Comanche Traded straight across w/ my dad when I went to college for: 1991 Mazda B2600 The the WRX came out and I got: 2002 Subaru WRX Sold the PU, then moved to a bigger house and needed a truck... 1987 Mazda B2000 Wanted a rally car so bought: 1985 VW GTI Decided I didn't want to build a rally car, so bought: 1988 VW Golf. Technically, I also "own" a 1987 VW Golf...but I just bought it to cut off the roof, all that's left of the car is the VIN plate & the dash. |

89 S10 Blazer 4x4 - Parents sold it to me, my high school car. Lots of sex0rz in the back, probably enough "seeds" in there to grow a moderate field of "plants. " Was generally full of mud after all the lawn jobs.
98 Jeep Wrangler SE - 5 speed, 4cylinder. Couldn't get out of its way on the highway but unbelievable fun otherwise. 02 WRX - first allocation buggy as hell. Just had a turboback, samco hoses and an MBC. Based on the experience with that car I doubt I will own a Subaru again. 03 Evo - Purchased with the intent to modify extensively. Due to vendor issues this never panned out. Since I don't use the car, it is now for sale. 10k miles the first year, 800 in the year after that and now 400 miles in the past 16 months 05 Scion xA - Wife's car, great for put putting around evanston, horrible on the highway. Wife traded car in after 11 months 06 mk5 GTI - Wife's current car, great interior(leather with package 2 and whatnot), plenty of power, DSG is sweet and it looks cool with the 18" huffenstein wheels 02 Dodge Dakota v8 4x4 - the "beater" truck even tho it only has about 55k miles on it. Replaced tires and ball joints, seems like it needs a new leaf spring in the back and possibly new struts as well as a transmission fluid flush. Currently handles all local errands as well as deep snow duty. As it is a regular cab it is way too uncomfortable for any trips longer then 1 hour. Next - who knows, I will be using the proceeds from selling the evo to pay off the truck and go paymentless for a few months while I cover the 14k in unexpected expenses i've incurred in the past 2 months. Then I'll see what to do next, leaning towards a 335i but I'm prolly going to check on the G35 and IS350 as well. |
