I'm not sure of what various friends have done when they installed their coil overs as far as what spring ratings.. I might ask around and compare. |

Ours is a 95 L with the safety pack (AWD and ABS).
I do happen to know of a very low mile, beautiful 92 LSi for sale... |

I want to hear update.... of coilover option... My custom set needs to be replaced or rebuilt... Should also talk to people on Subaru-SVX.net that are doing sways and stuff about maybe doing the production work on them to maybe be able to make stuff at a more cost effective price point? Along with endlinks and such.

About the only update I have is I picked up spare dampers to drop konis into. They are sitting in the shop until we have time to work on them.

I saw you guys in Fontana this weekend. I got it in my head that you were doing an XT project and not an SVX and kept asking about your XT. LOL this is the car I was referring to.

I mean Alcyone SVX and Alcyone XT so its easy to get confused!
Alcyone is the brightest star in "Pleiades" which is the english name for Subaru |

BTW We need something like this on the market and not just custom done. I badly need to rebuild this set as all my adjuster rings are frozen and I haven't had time to attack them so I can get a good corner balance on my car.... and cause I badly need helper springs so I stop dying on NE roads with 520 front spring rates... |

We do. I really don't want to spring for GCs and Konis on my 92, but it'll need struts soon and there aren't any other strut options.

Konis are going to be your best bet for dampers. I picked up some dead struts here for some to combine with a ground control set later this spring.
the biggest thing with the SVX is that for me to do anything that's not a one off means that I'm going to need some absolutely dedication from the community, and I'm worried that there just aren't enough of them out there to cover a decent sized run of parts. |

Its a gamble for sure. Since there are no options anyway, if someone needed struts, they could only turn to TIC. Make sense?

every svx owner needs struts. either right now or soon. I replaced mine in 2005 with oem but know I will be moving to something better soon.. unless I save money for the Aragosta $2900 suspension kit.
