I have no idea what you're talking about, and I'm happy about that.

I did something like that. I forgot I left my car uncovered, so I went prone in a corner. After I put the car cover on, I came back to find my player viciously gangbanged in the final kill-cam. My expression.

When you tell BMW owners how much more reliable your STI/WRX is even though you've had to rebuild the engine and WRX tranny several times.

When you have been out of the aftermarket stereo scene for years but a couple of days after owning your new Subaru you start looking at replacement audio components.

There are some good ones in this thread, I was lol'ing a few times at how true they are.

im sure these have already been covered but mine are...

-When you want an 8 year old sti and it still costs 20k dollars.
-When you have to explain to your wife the difference beetween a bugeye, peanut, hawkeye
-when your timing belt is like 4 feet in diameter
-when you own a bugeye and your just waiting for the tranny to grenade on you
-when you sell your subaru, than immediately try and figure a way to buy another ha

I will never get rid of this car if it is at all possible for me to keep it. I will hand it down to my son.

Haha yeah! It's the first job I did when I bought my car. I laughed and showed a friend the comparison to the subie one and the one I took off my old celica. I considered making a belt out of the thing.

I would like to have my subie as a daily driver, but my del sol gets 34 mpg and only uses regular gas. This also keeps my mileage really low on my wrx

I even take a different route because it has a lot more curves and a couple of nice flat straight aways to do 4th gear pulls on. It's the highlight of my work week.

THIS. I drive a 91 civic sedan as my daily. Around 42 mpg. My suby gets around 12 to 14 going easy on it. I guess the 850's are to blame for that. Keeps my pocket fatter with cash only driving the sti once or so a week.

EJ25 biggest weaknesses: oil circulated into the intake (detonation), garbage pistons (who the hell makes a forced induction powerplant without forged pistons?) and a cheap oil pickup that tends to split from the forces of tracking the car somewhat regularly and causes oil starvation failures. combine those 3 with a garabge factory tune and you can forget about calling it a reliable performance car unless you baby the hell out of it.

Today: When someone at the gas station walks up and asks what kind of subs your running and you politely say Oh, that must be my exhaust because my stereo sucks...

Then, the attendant over the speaker says to you, "you know thats an E85 pump, right". and you give him a thumbs up!
