well GR-2 shocks are just an OEM replacement, so it should ride about the same height as a stock GT would.

shocks have no effect on the ride height.

Shocks and struts can definitely have an effect on ride height.

If you get a weird shock + spring combo.

But the GR2's are OEM replacements, so there's no affect if they're applied to the stock springs.

they are 15% stiffer...I would assume that would effect it minutely...

I want to maintain a nice quality ride for daily driving... and I would like to stay about the same ride height as my DROOPY original suspension is right now

I would think that new legacy GT springs would actually raise my car...which I DON'T want...

I still have the 04sti suspension from my friend...the ride height seems just right. but I would need to replace the shocks with AGX or others... and I'm affraid the ride quality would be MUCH too stiff....

PICS anyone ?

15% stiffer than what? A piece of string?
You're talking about ride height in one sentence, then damping force in another?

As a secondary effect, yes, but that effect is going to be minimal compared to the contribution of the springs.

Unless the spring perches are at a different height on the GR2, I would expect the ride height with stock springs to be the stock ride height.
