You dont want the megan gaskets. I just had to go to Sideways to replace Daves gaskets because the megan gaskets lasted all of ONE week.

Use OEM gaskets. In fact, for the downpipe, just re-use the stock ones. I have re-used the turbo to downpipe gasket like 10+times over on multiple cars and have yet to see one leak.

Ill call you tomorrow about the downpipe

I Just got off the phone with about the 4th person I have asked.

Basically what I have that I KNOW I can get, are the Cusco top plates. Says they work with OEM shafts and non progressive springs. I havent been able to confirm 100% that they work with OEM springs. I have put it out there to a bunch of people and no one has been able to tell me for sure. I hate to sell them to you and have them not work, BUT, I havent seen any evidence that they dont work with OEM springs, as I would think it would say somewhere if they didnt, and I am pretty sure I have seen people run them with the OEM springs.

Whiteline appears to only make a front camber plate, but its a good bit more money.

In any case they are in stock. Ill shoot you a PM with the pricing.

Hmm. Lots. Let me dig around and look at the tips (that will be the important part in looking stock)

I know Bosal makes some quiet catbacks that look stockish.

You know the SPT catback? If so, how do you like it? I ask because Bosal makes it. And they make the exact same catback, without the SPT logo on it, for way less than the SPT catback.

Good call on not wanting the hard pipe. Its an aweful design, a BIG kink in the pipe for the air to slam into directly in front of the compressor. It couldnt be at a worse place. I do my best to talk my customers out of them even thought I do sell them.
I am out right now, I will get you that price

Hey Dave - It's Joe from Gabe's tuning day - I rode in the back of your "wagon o' doom" and wanted your ray's lugs....

Anyway, do you still have any of the fuel pumps that are easy to install ? I'm going to be in Austin right after xmas and would like to pick one up...

Dave, Vivid Racing has me pissed. Shoulda gone through you. If the APS CAI does not ship today I am canceling my order. Can you get your hands on an APS 65mm? If not XXTuning may be able to get me one (I know guys there).

I also need a Walboro.

Other intake options are the K&N typhoon or the SPT w/ shield, but I really want the APS.

Oh and get ready in the next two weeks or so (prolly a month) for a huge group buy on DW 750's or possibly 650's. There will be probably at least 10-15 people who need those and a walboro just to start off with.

I have 9 walbro pumps in stock, and I can have as many more as I need within 5-6 days time if I know ahead of time, so let me know.

I THINK I can get my hands on an APS 65mm. The problem is that most people are out of stock on them and they will take a long time getting here on a boat then sitting in customs... Want me to call around?

Honestly, I saw no real solid evidence in IAT or IAM or maf voltage that there was any performance difference between the SPT (which would be identical to the K&N performance wise) and my APS 65mm.

Oh and welcome to why Vivid isnt a nasioc vendor anymore

Buy my stuff lol, I am planning out a motor build Nothing huge, pistons/rods and maybe valve springs/retainers. I figure do it now while the block is known solid ya know?
I just dont want to have to worry about it anymore, and I LOVE the way a forged internals motor just revs and revs and revs. With the light internals, way balanced rods and valve springs/retainers I can spin 8k no problem (not that I am planning to do that for now, but I could if I wanted to, and a 7500rpm redline at SAR would really be nice especially once I do my 18" tires, which will be a touch smaller diameter, the 300RPM redline increase will put shift points back where they are now (approx) and if I spin it to 8k... That alone is an ET decrease.

My 750 DW are on the way as well
