Default Power window problem

The passenger power window on my 98 RS can only be rolled down from the drivers side regardless of whether I have the window lock on or off. It is like the passenger window is permantly locked, or the power window button on the passenger side simply isn't doing anything. Could this be a simple burnt fuse? The manual makes no mention of any fuses for power windows.

Thanks a lot,
Jonathan

This sounds like it is probably the passenger side switch. You might try pulling the switch out, and cleaning it with contact clean and lube spray(availabe at most electronic stores). If that doesnt work you may just have to replace the switch. Check the switch with a DVM while you have it out to make sure if its functioning or not. Hope this helps
