Default FS: 1998 wrb 2.5RS-T (axis stage 2 STi block) $14,000

edit: Priced at 14,000 without the PPGs
Hey guys,
I can't get past NYS inspection with the Link, and honestly, I don't hav ethe time to fight with it. I'm currently a full time grad student and I don't have a lot of time to fight with my car, so here is the deal.

1998 2.5RS with the following mod:
engine/power
Axis stage 2 STi shortblock (brand new sti shortblock with CP pistons). I literally just put this in 8 months ago, less than 4k miles on it). Runs great, pulls like crazy. The car dynos at 242whp and 280wtorque on a dyno-dynamics dyno (Dent Sport garage did all of the work and tuning). Stock STi pulls around 215 on their dyno.

Stock 2.5RS heads (DOHC) have been rebuilt and attached to the STi block with cometic head gaskets, and ARP head studs. Timing belt/water pump etc was also done at the same time.

Tuned by Matt at DSG (http://www.dentsport.com/) using a Link plus ECU + software at 15lbs.

The turbo kit is a rallispec turbo kit made for the NA 2.5RS. It consist of:
Turbonetics t3/t4 Turbo w/ported inlet housing
Rallispec Custom Intercooler
Manual Boost Controller (set at 15psi)
USDM STi injectors (Also have a set of PE 850s waiting to go in)
Rallispec upipe, downpipe.
3 Inch Rallispec Exhaust with 3 inch high flow cat.
Rallispec PiperCross intake system
Oil Catch Can
ACT Clutch (approx 5k miles on it)
Rallispec Oil Cooler
Tial 38MM External Wastgate
Magnecor Ignition Wires
greddy BOV (back into the intake)
other bits to support the turbo

Tranny:
We are replacing the current tranny now with a WRX transmission with PPG gears (1-4). WrX rear end is going in along with hubs, axles, 4pot fronts, 2 pot rears (from a 06 wrx) etc.
However, I may not replace this and leave it with the stock tranny (works fine). If you want the wrx tranny with PPGs, along with the entire wrx drive line, add another $4k (installed). If things work out, I may be able to leave the stock tranny/brakes/etc with you as well.

This stuff is in great condition.
Electronics:
Guages – Autometer Sport-Comp 52mm
Center Pod : Boost, Oil Pressure, EGT (with competition probe)
Steering Colulm : Fuel Pressure and Air/Fuel Ratio
Compustar 1500foot range 2way alarm with turbo timer features. (really nice kit, cost me over $600)
JVC head unit with MP3 player
Kenwood 11band EQ
POS kenwood amp (4x25watts). only the rear channels are connected right now
Another Mono amp to run the 10” infinity kappa perfect DVC. This fits directly under the strut tower bar, giving you the whole trunk to use. (this may come out, neg)
Link Plus ecu. (wire in unit) with Air temp sensor recently added by DSG. This has a map for 15lbs of boost using 550cc injectors. I have larger injectors available as well.

Brakes/handling
2006 WRX 4 pots/2 pot rears (going in soon). Currently has the stock RS brakes and STi 4 pots (old skool black ones) installed with DBA slotted rotors.
Goodrich SS Lines
MRT Master Cylinder Brace
Sparco Carbon Fiber Pedals

Rallispec Fast Road Suspension
V5 Struts, Eibach Prokit Springs, STi Top Mounts
Whiteline Endlinks front and rear
FHI 20mm Rear Sway Bar
STi Rear Strut Brace

Body:
V5 STi (RS) Front bumper conversion
V5 STi Fog light covers
V5 STi: Grill
V5 STi: aluminum Hood
REAL 22b hood vents
V5 STi Front Lip Spoiler
V5 STi Rear Spats
color matched skirts
Bumper is prewired for PIAA lights (not included)
Clear Turn Signals
17” supper legs wrapped in bridgestone g009’s (maybe 10k miles)
STi Short Shifter
Momo Shift knob
WRX Steering Wheel
Pair of Grey/Black Sparco Torinos
20% tint (leeberbs) and windshield strip.
Cusco Shifter bushings

Battery Relocation to the trunk

Why would i sell this??
1. I honestly can't play around with cars right now. I don't have the time. I want something that is stock and reliable. I'm open to trades..not looking for anything great, I just need a "normal" car now.
2. It isn’t “legal” right now considering it doesn’t have a OBD2 port. (the link is a stand alone unit). This is a problem for NY and NJ.

As for a price, I’m not really sure what it is worth.
The car is more powerful than an STi, lighter, looks better, etc.
With the tranny and new sti engine, I literally put 11,600 into the car. So that along with all the other mods, I'd like something [b]around[b] $18k. You basically have a pretty new STi with more power, better looks, lighter, etc.
I'm also open to offers . Without the tranny, I'm looking at $14k OBO.

I'm also willing to remove some stuff (Stereo, seats, etc (small stuff)) to bring the price down.

I’m sure I forgot some stuff, so feel free to ask questions.
For those who live in NY/NJ, this car just needs a cage and you have a bad ass track car with reliable power.
I'd love to keep this car, but i can't go through the process of making it OBDII compatible. However, if you can get around some of the CE lights, I have the stock ECU that you can play with.
If you have any questions at all, please let me know.

Keith
