20w50 is RACE engine oil...not street engine oil
So what are suggesting? Wouldnt the viscosity be better for it? So I should use 5W-30? I just moved to Iowa and it gets pretty chilly here

dunno d00000d....but you gonna blow that motor sky high using 20w50 in the winter thats for sure

and using ANY 5w30 would be as bad or worse

id try the 5w40 rotella t6....and there is only ONE 5w40 rotella in the bluie jug....any other rotella is the wrong one

+1 on Scotty's advice.

OP, the 5w40 will be fine for Iowa winters. I live in MN, and run it year round.
