Following the directons on www.scoobymods.com walks you through every step...just did mine about 2 weeks ago 20 min. start to finish...popped right in on the first try...small sledge hammer and a block of wood on top of the shifter...that's the only part you need a hand for...Mine hit the bezel surround in 1st...but I just ground it down a little where it hit...they talk about rotating it 180 deg. but I couldnt get it to sit right when I did it. Where are you located?

I've done 2. Go to the scoobymods link, follow the instructions.
It's a piece of cake and you can do it in less than 10 minutes.

Talking Done this about 400 times now :)

1. Unscrew Knob
2. Pop off surrounding Trim piece
3. Use 2 12mm wrenches to undo bolt
4. Pull the lever back to pop out of place
5. take out the center tube and bushings
6. Put the bushings / center tube in... well greased up
7. Line up the new shifter so if you're looking at it from the drivers side it is in an "L" shape
8. Place a small block of wood over the top of the shifter and give it a good quick smack with a hammer
9. Make sure it's securely in place
10. Put the bolt back on.
11. put surrounding trim back on
12. thread knob
13. wash hands because that grease WILL stain your pretty leather steering wheel.
14. Buy Bry a Guinness
