i dont see too many doing it off the bat on newer cars. apparently the problem exists on every single motor (even brand new ones), which is ridiculous since the problem has been around forever.

Hey Veelad,

I have the headlight Armor on the fogs plus the 2500k Nokya 55w bulbs. They are deep yellow and I love them. No bubbling, warping, or pitting. They're great. I've had them on all of my cars since the late 90's, huge fan!

Thanks for the input, putting in an order for them right now!

which DBA rotors did you go with? 4000 series? In the mean time take updated full shots of the interior!

Thanks man, I'm getting close to finishing the paint.
Also, I might have just scored another set of 2008+ rear calipers for those who are still looking.

Yupp doing T-Slot 4000's. I don't know what it is about the T-slot that I like so much better then the drilled/slotted but I can't wait to have them on. RSD just sent me an email that the fronts are being shipped but the rears are on an extended backorder

The interior is getting ready for another change... With the new center dash pod on it's way, I'm getting ready to wrap the dash and getting bigger 60mm gauges for the pod. I'm probably not going to go seamless integration with the pod though. In case I want to take it off in the future I will wrap it separately for a 2-piece modular look. We'll see how well formed it is when I actually have it in my hands.

Just got the new center cluster in today. It's an okay piece...
I'm looking forward to wrapping it in Alcantara, the rubberized texture HAS to go!

Friday the new 60mm gauges come in to fit the cluster.
Here's a quick iPhone shot from my desk.

Interested to see how it fits in the car. I've been debating on whether to get the ati pod or the SMY pod.

def a nice piece if you're going with more than 2 gauges. IMO the SMY is the best OEM looking pod for 2 gauges.

I just saw on EFI's facebook page a car they just did with the new ATI pod and it's looks terrible out of the box... I plan to mod mine anyway but if you don't plan to wrap it, I would stay away from the dash pod.

Agreed! I love the look of the dash pod and gauges but nothing beats the OEM look of the SMY and fitment.

Just looked at that pic on EFI's page. It does look pretty bad. not sure even just wrapping the pod would help a whole lot and I have no plans of doing the whole dash. Boo, looks like SMY it is

From what I've seen, it fits pretty poorly. I'm curious to see what you think of it.

Now that you have been on your Rotas for a while, how do you like them? I am looking to run a similar setup, but am hesitant about that aggressive of an offset. Did you notice any major changes in daily driving feel?

So far I'm pretty disappointed with the 4 years of production... It'll be fine for my needs but basically useless and a finished piece out of the box.

I have to say, for a daily driver and a non track car they are great!!
Fitment is perfect, ride is smooth and handling is factory. No complaints at all but good tires help a lot too! I don't regret getting Rota's one bit, I saved a bunch of money and they are perfect for my driving needs. I'm really impressed by the color and quality for a "cheap" wheel. They really stepped up there game from my last set of slipstreams from '97.
I did a heavy roll on the rear fenders but really didn't need to for the 9" +35. I guess I can always go to a 9.5" with a 265 tire in the future now, lol

Since I'm still on the OEM radio, I use Pandora through Bluetooth so my iPhone stays in my pocket, no mount needed
