im the second one to do this swap .... do u want to take the cheap way out, or do u want to go all out, as for me i did the complete drive train from brembos to the trany minus the engine tho, all u really need is the 06 sti tranny, clutch and flywheel and prop shaft , that should be it

just the gearbox for now. We've got the Wilwood BBK so no real interest in the Brembos. Any auto' shaft' will work correct? Stubs and seals sounds easy. As our budget allows we'll upgrade the rear gears....

what?!?! i have been reading the 06sti 6mt swaps into bugeyes for the past few hrs, and the stuff i've just read say that the ratios on the 06sti rears are the same as the bugeyes.. so, rear axles and hubs are good to go without any problems for a long while<until they wear out that is>

i only say this coz i'm looking into this as well, and there is a local who crashed into a wall or something and is parting out.. and i want his stuff

I think what toulakid means is that with the rear bias of the 6MT, the chances of breaking the wimpy R160 go up significantly. This of course depends on how much power and traction you have.
