Default How many Cold Cranking Amps is our stock Battery?

Just as the title says, I wanna know how many CCA our stock battery puts out because I have another one I wanna swap in hoping its stronger then the stock one, because I spent $70 on it before I got rid of my old car about a month ago.

RTFM . It's 356 MT and 520 for the automatic on a 1999-2001 RS... I imagine the L's are very similar. I believe my 1994 L was 320 (manual tranny).

Bry,

You could pay just a little more and go for a 1000cca. More is better when it comes to the battery and stereo system.

Ya, but I swapped it out of my 88' GL wagon and into my sisters 86' GL hatchback, we both have new cars now and we're getting rid of her car so why not take the better battery out? I mean I paid for it, why let it go to waste? $70 is alot of beer to a poor college student

Sorry to burst your bubble but you don't need a high CCA rating for your stereo. You want one with a longer reserve.
For short bursts of power get a high cca, for long drains get a high reserve/deep cycle.
But if your alternator is good it doesn't really matter.

It has a 2.5 hour drain life, I wanted higher CCA because I live in CT and after last years winter, I needed high CCAs to start my damn car in 2 degree weather.
Either way, now I know I should swap out the other battery and into mine
