I also have no garage and little or no tools, but let me know when and where and I will drink your bee... uh I mean give you a hand. Seriously though, I will help if you come up with a good place and I am free.

I did this install. It can be quite a bitch at times, but overall, not that hard. It took us(former performance shop owner and I) about 6 hrs with a lengthy luch break and time to go get new bolts. Overall, I'd say about 4 hrs, depending on how good you are and if you have air tools. Lots of heat shielding to remove. We had to cut the one on the manifold just before the up pipe because it went around the o2 sensor. You can take that out if you don't want to cut it, but o2 sensors are usually locked in pretty tight, plus there's not a whole lot of room to get wrenches in there. We broke three bolts coming apart with it. They galled on their own threads while I was UNscrewing them. They were all exhaust related, (14 mm head). Two of them were from the manifold to U.P. juncture. In order of disassembly: Intercooler, turbo, downpipe, then up pipe. There are lots of brackets that are in tight spots, a pair of small hands underneath the car helps. Watch out when you take the coolant/oil lines off the turbo, lots of coolant will come out, making things very slippery and hard to grasp. If I think of anything else to warn you about, I'll let you know. My boost comes on fully by 2500rpm and is a lot more driveable. Good luck
tim

Jack,
Who's doing the install? Did you get a quote or are you paying by the hour.

My up-pipe should be in next week. I'll be installing it probably on 11/10. I want to do it on a Sat. just in case I need Sun.

Later,
Dustin

good luck, heard it was an all day jod for about a 5HP gain and a little better spool up, should have waited till you upgraded your turbo later down the road
