6 speed swap issues
05 WRX
04 6speed swap Everything went in as mentioned (thanks guys for all your descriptions) Car shifts through all the gears eng off Starts right up clutch in engine goes through all gears. As I release clutch it slowly creeps only on flat surface. No power. I can also put in any gear without engine stalling. When up in air only front tires spin. Also in any gear I can roll the car by pushing with some drag. Can anyone help me?

So I found out my rear axles don’t fit my diff. It sat in there but never engaged the splines. 05 wrx stock axles. Looks like the diff is 27 spline. Is that common?

So what did you do for the rear end?

That's assuming you ditched the r160 - if you didn't then i don't see why the axles wouldn't fit since that's what was on the car originally. When i 6 speed swapped my 06 wagon, i put in an r180 and got V7 STI hubs for the rear. No issues. |

Your WRX axles are made for R160 diff. The spine won't engage R180 STI diff. Seems you missed understood rear end parts compatability. Keep your knuckles and buy DDS hybrid axles. Swap STI knuckles and use sti brake so or rotor made for baby Subaru 2 pot calipers.
