Default 2010 2.5i Impreza- Enkei

WHats up , I am wanting to buy some new rims for my 2010 2.5i impreza base model. I am looking at

Enkei EDR9 18x7.5 rims http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand

Will these fit without having to do anything crazy to my car? If i buy them, will they rub at all, or wear out any other parts ?

Do these rims weight less than my steel rims?

Ive never bought rims for a car, and I was just curious if i need to be mindful of anything when I finally decide to buy them or not. Im a newb, lol, i need guidance.

I'm assuming they're a reasonably wide 17 so I'm sure you'll be fine, and they will more than likely be lighter than those steelies.

Find the specs and repost, width and offset, desired tire size.

- These wheels should fit without any trouble since its not extremely wide.
- Expect little to no weight savings as these wheels are larger than stock and it'll require larger and heavier tires that will offset majority of the potential weight savings. Weight shouldn't be a concern if you are just daily driving it.

the 18's will fit fine it has the same body as a wrx so you can look at the 08-10 wrx wheel thread. You won't run into trouble unless its wider than 18x8 or 17x8.5

Stock tires are 20/55/16. According to tire size calculator to maintain tire circumference, 18 x 7.5 you're looking at 225/40/18 with 0.4% difference in speed reading by the speedometer.

sweet man thanks for hooking me up with all that info. Do you personally think that 18" rims will look too big? Or will they look perfect?

Everyone has their own tastes so go with what you want. I personally want more width with proper tires for traction but some people prefer to fill the wheel gap with larger wheels and skinny tires for stretched look for aesthetic reasons.

Ok newbie here. I did some searching and a friend of mine just totaled his impreza. I have the stupid steelies And I'm wanting his wheels. His tires are **** though after the accident.

Every tire shop in town doesn't have the stock tire that the Subaru comes with. They offer me a "substitute size" I honest to god don't know what that means. The tire I want (bare with me I'm still new to tires) is 225/45/17 the tire everyone else offers is 250/50/17. I see a small difference. I read up on tirerack but its still a little confusing. If I don't go with the size that was on the tire the last time, would be that ok?

Will it fit? Sure. It'll be a little tall though.
