Help Choose the 1970 FF-1 Project Car color scheme: ROUND TWO!!! (Poll inside)
Vote!!!
Round 2!!! Picture for Poll reference: This is ROUND TWO folks! These were the finalists as of 8pm PST 8/16! Vote for the one you like the most! Note: This picture DOES NOT represent what the car will ACTUALLY look like, please see the other thread for more reference: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1351744 These photos are meant for a GENERAL IDEA of what that color scheme would look like! Here is a short list of the colors I'm referring to in this thread/poll and am considering for the project: Whites Sating White Pearl - Subaru color as seen on current Imprezas/Legacies/etc. (pearly white) Aspen White - Previous Subaru white, a basic white. Championship White - Acura/Honda Type-R white from the late 90's Birch White - Less-pure white from Subaru's 2000 Legacy line Yellows Pheonix Yellow - Acura Type-R color from the late 90's (a pure yellow) Sonic Yellow - Subaru yellow as seen here in that limited 2003 run, and also on the JDM STI RA-R (A yellow with a slight bit of orange) Orange Grabber Orange - Ford Mustang color from the current model year, also a classic 70's color from Ford. (An Orange that is almost a yellow, and quite bright) Blues Mexico Blue - A Porsche blue seen in the 70's and some current limited edition Porsche models (not quite baby blue, but lighter than rally blue) Newport Blue Pearl - Subaru color as seen on several current models (dull blue, but with lots of metallic flake) Rally Blue Pearl - Subaru's rally blue color of course! Now for reference, this is depending on budget and the specific painter, which might vary greatly depending on what it takes to repair the metal bodywork/chassis first. The DEFAULT color for this project would be white, which would hide any imperfections and is simple and cheap to paint... Here is a good idea of in general, how I plan the car to look (IE the details like raising the rear fenders, blacking out the window trim, etc.): Round 3 coming up next week!!! Voting ends for round 2 on 8/24, Sunday!

aspen w/ rally blue. Uses two great suby colors and gives you that two tone paint job that will make your car pop.

White (don't care which version) or #8. Will not add to poll due to white choices.

Kosty, stay away from the bright colors (Orange, Yellow in this case). Let's face it, you live in Cali and I doubt you know how to drive any Subaru in an inconspicuous fashion - you'll just be asking for tickets.

FYI the race-prepped cars in the 70's had a stripe along the side, thats also an option...

8 or 9. or 8 or 9 in stripe form instead of 2-tone form. that'd be cool too.

if it was me I would want the car to turn heads which would be the 2 tone look
plain white would just look like 'another old car' IMO |

Yes, yes, yes. The over/under scheme was just too much color IMHO. White with a stripe like this of some sort would be awesome. I would of course do the stripe in some high-quality vinyl, so you could take it off if you wanted to.
