I'm positive that your shifter has shorter throws and shorter overall height than any of them I had photos of. The MODE/COBB really does have a lot of adjustability.

Yeah I am sure it does. If you have cold beer we can always pull it out and take pictures. You won't have them all together, but you could Photoshop it in.

Yeah, we could do that sometime. I have most of that beer sampler left over. Most of them are terrible, lol. I am getting pretty good at swapping. Only takes a few minutes as long as the c-clip comes out without an issue.

No but I have bolted it up with a donut adapter and with the flat flange and both ways work. So with any reasonably good fitting downpipe you should be fine. FYI - I found there to be very little sound difference between catted and catless.

Ew newer body style speed 3? I just can't get over how those cars from the front look like they are smiling lol.

Love the exhaust tips. I've decided I'm going nameless or greedy this summer

Yeah. It's a bit goofy. But it isn't as obvious on a black car. And it will kill just about any stock turbo WRX or STI frumroll.

Faster, nicer interior, and cheaper. If you're happy with stock turbo power and don't live in a climate that needs AWD then I think it's better. Looks are subjectively worse I suppose. The only big downside is the aftermarket support for big power isn't there.

The gearbox is nice, interior is nice, makes good power and the mod community support isn't terrible but not as nice as the Subie community. Only way I would own one is if I didn't live in a place where it snows and if it was the older body style.

Downsides
Looks in my opinion
Torque steer which actually goes away with big turbos
Very compact engine bay
Fuel system needs mods to go stage 2
Actually fuel system is the biggest downfall of them

This is pretty much spot on. You need that cam driven high pressure fuel pump for stage 2. That's a few hundred bucks. But after that you can do stock turbo and E85 or mid 400's or higher on pump gas. The direct injection fuel system is a limiter after that.

I love the car and it was my first option but the Buffalo weather make me get the Wrx. Imo suspension are way better too.

The direct injection is terrible. Not sure if its improved on the newer body. My friends has issues and needs to have the intake manifold taken off and cleaned up at only 30k. Cobb has a service bulletin on it. I will stay clear of them even though my awd isn't needed in southern California. I feel that the wrx/sti is way more reliable. I also wouldn't want to be the "tag along" Mazda that's hanging out at the Subaru meets, like some of them do over here. Nothing against them hanging out with us, I would just want to hang out with other Mazda owners if I owned a Mazda. I really enjoy the Subaru community.

Think its this one,
