Default 2.5 rs new owner

i just bought a 2000 2.5 rs. what are some inexpensive, and borderline ghetto things i can do to give it alittle more. anything like drilling the airbox, cuz i did that when i had my jetta, i have really even looked much in the engine i bought it today but am not picking it up till tomorrow. also does anything from a WRX fit on it, because my brother has one and has a bunch of his stock parts laying around.

This is a start:

CAI=Cobb(260), Ganz(100)
Tires=eliminate the RE92's then kuhmo ecsta 712's, yokohama's 1000's, bridgestone 730's, etc.
Lightweight pulley=MrJosh(95), etc.

Search specific divisions(NA,General,Conversions,etc) hay un monton de information aqui!!!

oh great..more of that stuck up subaru talk. This is the thing that really pisses me off about this board....

do whatever you want to it....its YOUR car. BUT you bought the wrong car if you are looking for low dollar mods......it seems like everything for these cars is at least 1/3-1/2 higher than aftermarket parts for any other ride...

My GF just bought a focus and stuff for that car is CHEAP....ok here comes the flaming....watch.

Dont get impatient and start drilling holes, lol..

Just get used to the car, its handling, its power delivery and the likes. Then while you are enjoying one of the best affordable cars around IMHO, save up money for mods made for the car. Im one to talk though, I have a custom exhaust, but it wasnt backwoods engineering though, haha.

Obvious things are: engine is like pump, make pump more efficient, suck up air better, push out exhaust better= performance... garuanteed.

Default i didnt mean ghetto like ricer...

hey you got the wrong impression from me with the ghetto term, in my mind that is just little fixes that arent really expensive. is there a chip for this car. but i guess it is a good idea to get used to it, push it to its limit and then expand apon the limit.
