Default So I just ordered an AP, AVO DP, and AVO intake, what should I watch out for?

My car is an 08 WRX sedan with about ~450 on the clock. Will I get a CEL with my DP? If so, will the AP clear that out? Still waiting for a decent exhaust to come out for the sedan, should I buy a good muffler and get it custom made? I'm a n00b when it comes to turbo cars and WRXs, so any imput would be appreciated

yea u will get a CEL from ur DP but if u put a stage 1 map on ur car then u wount have a problem.. cobb maps rnt the best so i recogmend that u get Protuned for stage 2 after u get a catback.

I got the AP from Rallitek, so they are throwing their custom maps on there. So when I load the right map, will the CEL will go bye-bye?

looks like you got your bases covered. before installing the intake, make sure that the maf tube is the same diameter as the stock intake, otherwise you will require a custom tune. i believe it's still 65mm for the 08s. other than that, you really don't have any worries

once you get bored, find a tuner remotely close to you and get a protune

Review that intake over and over and over again to make sure it's the right size. You should be able to run stage 2 with the downpipe installed. Catted? Catless? After a few WOT runs if you smell something funny, don't worry it's just you peeing in your pants.

After speaking to RalliTek, they assured me that it would fit The DP is catted. I wonder how much HP i'll gain

more than enough to make you happy. if the ots map doesn't give you enough power, get a protune!

You should NOT be running a stage 1 map with a DP. Stage 1 is made for a stock vehicles. as in now hardware modifications.

Protune FTW thoug at any stage

Stage 2 is what you want to run. Stage 2 on an AP is a DP and AP installed.
