Hey, we've all done some dumb things before.

I don't think 3 oz is going to hurt anything, but I'd drain the tranny and with a suction gun keep spraying the insides as best as possible letting it drain out, and then fill it up again.

Dood...You need a Valium...Quick.

Shifter----
3oz. shouldn't cause any problems. Drain/re-fil your trans when you get a chance if you don't feel right about it.

3.7qt=~120oz.....3oz out of 120, unless it was battery acid or lye, shouldn't be any problem.

Brake fluid is water soluble and therefore shouldn't mix well with lubricant anyway. It'll want to stay on the bottom of the case. I would do a simple drain/fill sequence. If it does bother you I'd probably dump maybe a couple of quarts of ATF (this flows easier than 80W or 90W) and try to rinse out any remaining fluid.

But on the whole, the 3 ox should bother anything seriously. I'd just do the drain and fill and that should cure your nerves. Then take 2 aspirins and call your local porn store in the morning.
