I told jane that I should trade the infiniti for a porsche. She said sure.
I'd like a back seat for Ella, and a 2005 and up, but this is tempting http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...26572970&Log=0 |

911s have back seats well, that one might be a bit tricky with the roll cage and whatever you do, don't get the Panamera, or I'll defriend you on bookface |

If your going for a GT3 (of which I looked for), don't get one that was so obviously tracked. The gearing is more easier on the motor (Non RS). However, there are some bits that should be welded (hoses and such) for safety sake.
You'll be chucked to bits with a 993. Can't go wrong. MvP |

I dont want a GT3. Whatever I get is replacing the infiniti for a daily driver, so has to at least fit a rear child seat.
a nice 2009 plus C4S would do fine, but they are still north of $50K |

Maintence wise, you won't go wrong with a Porsche (look up reliability reports). A C4S is a great choice and I see you want to be safe with that IMS debacle. Anything non GT variant is going to be able to fit a back seat so your fine.
Don't get a chump mobile (BMW) as they aren't anywhere near the build quality of a Porsche and you'll always have the infamous and overly loaded electronics whizzes in the mobile to worry about long-term. If you look hard enough, you can get an 08 C4S for a around that and they are going to be as reliable as the 09. If it was me, I would go for any year of the Turbo. You'll have the metzger engine (993, GT2, GT3) and you'll find your price range really quick. Maintaining them is no different than the a normal C4 and you'll be improving air quality as you drive. Don't go BMW mate. POC MvP |

Just attach the car seat to the roof rack. The 911s come pre-drilled for a rack.
Makes loading easier and probably makes for a quieter ride. |
