New to Subaru and Nasioc. Just saying HI
Just bought a 06 wrx with some tastefull mods. I was always into rwd turbo cars but now decided try something new. I had 3 240sx's but recieved a job with a 60 mile commute and went to a reliable acura TL. I felt the need for a boosted car again and traded one of the members on this forum my TL for his WRX. Hope i can help and get help from you guys with any problems that arise. Looking forward to going to meets again and meeting new and intresting people. Here are some pix of the new and the old.

Whats up with MPG on these. Is it really in the low 20's or is mine special. My 398 rwhp car gave me 28-29?

It an AWD turbo car, you can't be expecting great gas mileage.
Hell... I get that in my 2.5rs. Last edited by watson 29; 03-15-2009 at 07:25 PM. |

Welcome to Subarus and NASIOC. Except for cars on-track pictures, I never understood the swirled lic plate need.

good gas mileage is possible with the WRX i get 27-28 mpg on about a 85/15, HWY/CTY split on my monthly 300 mile round trip low 20 MPGs is easy to do by staying out of boost |

it was on the for sale section on this forum. Thank you all for welcoming me. I am enjoying the boost again but sadly it is nowhere near as fast as my low 12 sec S13 that was running 398rwhp. I am older now and cannot really drive a stupid fast car everyday and get to work without any problems. I dont even know here to start. There is a lot of lag on this car at low rpms so maybe i am due for a dual ball bearing garrett? Its already got a complete exhaust and CAI with a vf39 and a sti topmount. What about a front mount???? A set of 550s and a good old maped out power FC. I hate MAF cars. lol
