Thinking the same thing bahaha honestly I was expecting a faster time if those numbers are anywhere near legit and if he was able to get the weight down to 3000 with the driver and passenger in there... Which is probably very optimistic haha

That's actually one of the fastest stock turbo times I've seen.

400wtq is definitely possible on the vf52...there are plenty of guys making higher than that with a few more lbs of boost. hell, there are guys making close to 400wtq on the later model TD04's with good fuel and an aggressive tune.
...now...keep in mind that even though they are seeing high wtq, these things fall off VERY quickly. so around town it and stoplight to stoplight, it would feel REALLY fast, but in something like 50-100mph pulls or mid-high rpm roll racing, it will feel pretty slow. |

E85 will get you there...obviously, there are better fuels out there than E85 from a pump, but it will definitely get you there if you are willing to push the tune hard enough

I am sorry on the weight I am not sure and it seemed to be average I suppose it is closer to 3500, the numbers are legit, the fuel is E85 and there are plenty stock 2011 turbo's making these numbers. I am not planning on the turbo or engine lasting, it is fun. I was the only person in the vehicle on a very hot and humid night.

Local E85 has consistently been E83-86, I test it in a controlled laboratory setting on a monthly basis.

Thats pretty awesome tq! Your dynograph shows exactly what I was talking about with the tq falling off. I love setups like this around town and autocrossing on a really tight course where you don't really get alot of time to put down higher mph numbers, but in top end style racing and driving (50-100mph runs), this is going to be less than ideal. Notice your peak number is at about 3800rpm, and then by 4800rpm, tq has dropped almost 75 ftlbs, then by 5800rpm it has dropped about 100 more ftlbs, and then by redline you probably will have dropped another 100 ftlbs (can't tell because the run stops at like 6300rpm). So total, between 3800rpm and 6600rpm, you are seeing a total drop of 250-275 ftlbs. I am not saying any of this to bag on your setup in any way...I myself have a TD04 2.5L so...I am just as bad if not worse off than these kind of setups, and like I said, these types of setups feel AMAZINGLY fast in day to day driving. I am more just stating this stuff for the people who don't know this already, to better help them make their decisions and parts selections. Here is a video of a 2.5L TD04 running 91oct that made 191whp/351wtq, but notice how the curve looks on the graph...also notice that that peak number comes by 2500rpm ... no graph on this one, but same type setup but made 237whp/391wtq...so a much more aggressive tune compared to the first video. |

What you guys are talking about is exactly why I want a new turbo and an engine, max boost is at 3300 rpm. The car takes off like a rocket and looses a whole lot past 80.

I totally agree on this. A VF (or even TD04) on E85 is incredibly fun around town. There is so much punch between 3k and 4k. But once you get up to higher speed and higher RPM it falls off hard. It all comes down to preference.
